  8. To maintain safe, healthy and pleasant working conditions.
  9. To review and revise this policy at regular intervals.

Our Green Statement

What we've done ...

  • All staff have had green awareness training by People Profit Planet.
  • We put systems in place to ensure light switches, laptops and computers are turned off when possible.
  • We ensure all our carboard and wood is recycled e.g through use of skips and a cardboard box deposit area.
  • We reuse suppliers packaging to deliver to customers.

What we're doing now ...

  • STOP PRESS! We have just introduced paper recycling.
  • We source goods only through suppliers with good green credentials e.g Bisley and Gresham Office Furniture.
  • There is a green notification about printing emails at the foot of all our emails.
  • We use all obsolete print outs as scrap paper.
  • We have Vehicle Tracking and Sat Nav's in all our delivery vans and service engineer's vehicles to aid fuel reduction.
  • We provide a green stationery catalogue.
  • We use sustainable fabrics for some of our chairs.
  • We advise customers to have a Print Audit carried out to help reduce waste.
  • We recycle all used toner cartridges for ourselves and advertise to customers our cartridge recycling service to our customers.
  • We carry out email marketing to save on paper.

What we want to do next ...

  • Send our mail shots out on recycled paper instead of regular to limit usage of this paper and to promote recycled products to our customers.
  • Recycle our plastic, plastic cups and polypropylenes, batteries, metals, mobile phones and fluorescent lights.
  • Recycle old PC's.
  • Print on office paper from recycled or sustainable sources.
  • Send invoices and statements by email.
