Wallis Business Services Celebrates 46 Years in Business!

The company started in 1965 when Peter Wallis Senior and his wife set up in business in Gillygate, York. Offering only Typing and Duplicating services. As the business became a success, Peter soon found that customers also required stationery items and other services.

Peter Wallis, son of Mr and Mrs, joined the company in 1977, starting in the Print section and gradually making his way to the position he holds today as Managing Director. The company have continued to expand and now have over 50 members of staff, covering all aspects of Office Supply and Services.

The company now has three branches covering the North East of England. A warehouse and head office at Clifton Moor in York, a Branch in Darlington and in Malton, which also has an extensive Stationery shop. This means Wallis Business Services are now able to cover much of the north with a local delivery service and personally assigned Representatives.

Being part of the largest buying group in the UK, gives us the ability to give national prices, whilst still maintaining a local personal service.  The company now can offer over 20,000 products next day to their customers with an average 98% fulfillment level.

Although Mr and Mrs Wallis Senior have now retired, Peter Wallis is committed to giving all customers large or small, the service expected from a family company
